Team Ragde Eiendom, Team ParkettPartner and Team Tynell registered for Guide World Classic Tour 2018!

Team Ragde Eiendom (former Team Santander), Team ParkettPartner and Team Tynell are officially registered as Guide WCT Teams for the season 2018.

In the following days we will present the teams that will animated the summer! Discover who are the athletes on board and what are there ambitions this season!

Team Ragde Eiendom

The former Team Santander is changing name and head sponsors but not its ambitions! The uncontested Visma Ski Classic and Guide World Classic Tour team will join the series again this summer.

” – Our goal is to continue to be the leading team in long distance-races. This year we start of with a new sponsor and also a new strong athlete on the team. Joar Thele impressed us during Vasaloppet with is his offensive skiing and strong attitude. We are also very pleased to have all the athletes from last year still on the team. Andreas Nygaard showed how strong he is securing the win in Vasaloppet and Birken and second overall in the Visma Ski Classics. We also have Tord Asle Gjerdalen who is aiming for a new yellow bib and another win in Marcialonga. And off course grand old man Anders Aukland who never quits and still are one of the strongest skiers in the field. Øyvind Moen Fjeld is aiming for his first Visma Ski Classics podium next winter and Oskar Kardin wants to win the green bib. In the womens we have Kari Vikhagen Gjeitnes is back after injury and wants to fight for the yellow bib. In the World Classic Tour our goal is to fight for the win in all races and all the jerseys.”

Team ParkettPartner:

This summer Team ParkettPartner will present a strong team of young and talented athletes. Well placed this winter on the different stage of the Visma Ski Classics, the norwegian team will come with  high goals on this third season of Guide WCT.

“-  After a successful season (17/18) in the Visma Ski Classics, we look forward to fight for good results in the Guide Classic Tour 2018. We hope to win the youth jersey, fight for individual sprints and good results in individual races. Team ParkettPartner consists of six young athletes. The team athletes are mainly coming from the region of Lillehammer, finish line of Birkebeinerrennet.”

Team Tynell

Team Tynell:

One of the most well known long distance team will join the tour this summer again! The team composed of successful athletes will target stage victories but also the Champion bib in the women category for Laila Kveli.

“- Team Tynell once started out in the very first season of Ski Classics, as a team consisting of the two brothers Daniel, three times Vasaloppet winner and Rikard Tynell, winner of La Diagonela 2014. Now Daniel has finished his career as a skier and is today the director of the team. Still the team has growth the last years by members strengthened the spirit as a strong family. First with the Ski Classics legend Jerry Ahrlin in 2015 and last season with his cohabitant Laila Kveli, two times Vasaloppet winner. For the season 2017/2018, Team Tynell present the new strong addition in Jens Eriksson, an experienced long distance skier with extremely high potential. Watch out for Team Tynell! “
