Team United Bakeries and Team SV Lützel Rothaarsteig registered on Guide World Classic Tour!

Today the two teams presented are the David and Goliath of the Tour. In one side the giant Team United Bakeries and at the other side the amateur athletes of the Team SV Lützel Rothaarsteig! Both animated by the same passion for long distance skiing and rollerskiing!  Learn more about them:

Team United Bakeries is one of the strongest team on the long distance circuit and has encountered many major victories on the most mythical races on winter time. Last season on World Classic Tour, Astrid Øyre Slind won the WCT Champion bib, she will certainly aim to keep it as her own until the final stage on the top of the Alpe Cermis. The men will also be redoubtable opponents in the fight for the overall Champion ranking and the yellow bib!

Team Sv Lützel Rothaarsteig

Team SV Lützel Rothaarsteig

Team SV Lützel Rothaarsteig is located in the Redhear Mountains in the middle part of

Germany. This new team will be the second German team registered on the series this season! All the athletes composing the group are full time employee beside the sport. Their main goal is to enjoy the race beside the professional Teams. And maybe we collect some points. We are looking forward to see them in action on the Tour!

Guide WCT TEAM, what is it?

On the 2017 edition of Guide World Classic Tour, the teams and clubs aiming to compete for the team ranking and collect points have to be registered as a Guide WCT Team. Then, the team members (top single woman and and top two men on each stage) will collect individuals points on the CHAMPION and SPRINT ranking that will added to give the overall points of the team. At the end of the season, the best Team will receive 20% of the overall Guide WCT prize money: 6000 euros!
