Alliansloppet welcomes the world best long distance skiers!

Alliansloppet the largest rollerski race in the World will welcome this year again around 1 300 rollerskiers on Saturday 25th August 2018 in Trollhättan- Sweden.

New record for Alliansloppet with 16 different nations represented on the 11th edition of the most mythical rollerski race of the circuit! Norway, Sweden, Danmark, France, Italy, Poland, Netherland, Israel, United state, Belarus, Finland, Germany, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and Czech Republic! 

Amongst them, the world best long distance skiers from Guide World Classic Tour and Visma Ski Classics will be present to take a prestigious victory.  Also FIS World Cup skiers will also be at the start of Alliansloppet with some serious ambitions. 75 000 Swedish kronor will reward both women and men winners. 3 intermediary sprints will also be spread on the track to offer some extra spectacle to the public always gather in a big number along the track!

 Who will take the victory this year and succeed to Andreas Nygaard and Maja Dahlqvist?

Unfortunately this year, Anders Nygaard will not be able to defend his victory on Alliansloppet 2017. After an incredibly successful winter season ( victory on Vasaloppet and Birkebeiner), Andreas has to take the spring to study and pass exams in the medical field. He his now preparing the winter 2018 and aim for a as much successful season on the Visma Ski Classics!

Here are our favourites for the race:

Anders Mølmen Høst from Team Serneke is the actual leader of Guide World Classic Tour and as demonstrated an amazing shape since the beginning of the summer! Tord Asle Gjerdalen and Oskar Kardin from Team Ragde Eiendom will also some serious pretenders to the final victory. We do not forget also the forever young Anders Aukland that can make the race very though by imposing a high pace in the group! Ilia Chernousov – Bauer Ski Team will also there take part to the fight. Keep an eyes on him! Team BN Bank and its three fast athletes will also be on the startline with some serious ambitions! Always well placed on Alliansloppet, Morten Eide PedersenSimen Østensen and Øystein Pettersen make figures of serious favorites on this 11th edition of Alliansloppet!

On the World Cup side Calle Halfvarsson will take part of the festivities in Trollhättan with the victory as a target. Candide Pralong from Switzerland (partcipation to the Peyong Chang Olympic Games) will also be a serious candidate for the podium, he finished 11th on Alliansloppet 2016.

Alliansloppet is also unique for it density and the impressive number of elite women skiers at the start. This year again, the organisers have been working hard to get an amazing women startline! 40 girls will stand on the elite startline of the 48 km dicover her who are hour favorites:

Three women from the Swedish national team will be represented by Anna DyvikJonna Sundling and the two time victorious on Alliansloppet Hanna Falk!

Maja Dahlqvist victorious last year will try to double it! Lina Korsgren from Team Brunbergs and Vasaloppet 2017 winner is present and has for objective to take the victory home!

The world best long distance specialists Astrid Øyre Slind  (Team Koteng) Guide WCT Champion leader , Kari Vikhagen Gjeitnes (Team Ragde Eiendom) and the queen of the Visma Ski Classics – Britta Norgren are engaged and will for sure play the first positions an aim for a first victory on Alliansloppet!
